MM-1100/1200 parts interchangeability guide

The Ampex MM-1100 and MM-1200 machines are similar in a lot of respects, and many of the parts are interchangeable. Having rebuilt an MM-1200-24 and a couple of MM-1100-8s, and parted out a few others in the process, we’ve had more first-hand experience of the similarities and differences than most people would want. This list will be useful to anyone who is wondering if they can get away with using a part from the other model.
